Job Description

  • Must be experienced in all procedures regarding the service of food & beverages.
  • Assist others in all restaurant endeavors, working as a team to provide the finest service possible to our guests.
  • Capable of supervising, & assist in the training of Junior Waiters.
  • Maintains a careful watch over the assigned station, making certain that all guests are promptly, politely & properly served as per company standards.
  • Promotes and maximizes wine & beverage sales in the assigned workplace.
  • Follows company guidelines regarding uniform, personal grooming & hygiene for him/herself, & all assigned subordinates in the work station.
  • Ensures the assigned workstation is properly stocked, set & prepared to meet the daily business demands.
  • Effectively communicates any problem, challenges, complaints or service difficulties/feedback immediately to a Supervisor on duty.
  • Maintains an attentive & proactive approach offering help to guests with menu selections / wine paring, & asserting satisfaction with the product served.
  • Performs other related duties assigned by the immediate Supervisor on duty.

Required Skills or Experience

  • 2 years related Fine Dining experience in a hotel, restaurant or related hospitality establishment.
  • Must be able to perform all Position Responsibilities listed below.
  • Must be able to fluently speak, read and write in English. Other requirements include: a pleasant, accommodating personality, customer service oriented, responsible, well-organized & have a good working knowledge of wine & its service.
