Reporting Unit/Supervisor: Program Director

• Location: Accra   
• Travel: Domestic up to _50_%                

Position Description:
The Enterprise Finance and Business Services Manager will be responsible for administering a grant program to enterprises and facilitating access to finance for participating businesses.  Enterprises that qualify for grants will be eligible to use the funds to procure business services.

The Enterprise Finance Manager will:

• Review applications by enterprises for use of grant funds (e.g.  audit services, market research, loan collateral, etc.)
• Conduct due diligence on applicants
• Establish process for pre-selecting business service providers to work with the program
• Develop rules and procedures for working with business service providers
• Review quality of work product of business service providers
• Develop rules and regulations for BAS provider participation in the program
• Set up and administer system for linking BAS providers and participating businesses 
• Set up and administer an evaluation system for quality BAS provider services
• Administer the payment system to BAS providers

Required Skills or Experience

• Holds a BA or Masters degree  or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Econometrics  or other business related fields
• Five (5) years minimum field experience in business, finance, economics or other related field
• Experience working with and administering grants
• Proven experience setting up processes and procedures
• Strong interest in enterprise development
• Excellent management skills
• Strong quantitative skills
• Very strong interpersonal skills
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to work independently
