Job Description

The position as a Sales Executive for our Tyre Unit has arisen at our Kumasi branch. The candidate will market and develop tyre sales activities in a profitable way in Kumasi and its envitons in line with the department’s strategy.

Essential Duties

  • Sell the tyres adhering to company procedures, standards, targets and margins.
  • Selling requires intense research and relationship-building skills.
  • Promoting the products in absolutely professional and effective way.
  • Build or animate good dealer program.
  • Understand and make note of customer requirements
  • Visit new prospects (at least three times per week for the first year).
  • Sign with at least twenty new customers in first year.
  • Develop new businesses in large fleet, institutions and private companies.
  • Represent the company in a very professional manner dressing appropriately at all times and using good language
  • Establish the necessary file for any transaction.
  • Follow and ascertain the payment of any sale.
  • Review sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Maintain and develop good quality relationships with existing customers
  • Gather market and customer information and report this to General Sales Manager monthly/weekly.
  • Perform other tasks as and when required by management

Required Skills or Experience

  • BSc or BA degree or a recognized qualification with at least 5 years post qualification and relevant experience in either sales or business development
  • Job requires regular travel to visit customers and sites
  • Confident Negotiator with excellent communication skills
  • Strong background in trye sales
  • Knowledge of fleets, institutions and dealers in Kumasi
  • Must be comfortable working in a highly competitive environment and be happy to meet regular sales targets
  • Planning, scheduling and organising in advance
  • Work with minimum supervision and total initiative, individually as well as a team member
  • Computer literate and has a clean/valid driving license
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess high level of effective customer care skills
  • Demonstrate innovative ideas in problem solving
