Job Description

The position as a Sales Executive has arisen at the sales department of our company. The candidate will promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship based approach, on all the company’s product lines.

Essential Duties

• Establish, maintain and develop good business relationship with current customers and Prospective Customers in the assigned territory.
• Gather and provide Management with written and verbal reports on Customer needs, problems, competitive activities, and potential for additional product lines.
• Deal with customer problems and complains expeditiously
• Keep abreast with product applications, market conditions and competitive activities and give feedback to management as and when required.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Maximise sales opportunities and ensure that targets are exceeded.
• Making phone calls and sending emails, arranging appointments,
• Gather market and customer information and report this to management
• Perform or assist in any work related duties that may be determined / assigned by the Manager from time to time.

Required Skills or Experience

• HND in Marketing or Certificate in Marketing from CIM-UK, with at least 3 years working experience within an FMCG Market.
• Excellent written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Ability to determine solutions for Customers
• Must be results – oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Must be confident, ambitious and responsible
• Must possess a valid driving license
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability and the desire to sell or the willingness to learn and apply new sales techniques
• Must be PC literate
• Highly energetic, enthusiastic, sharp with a smart appearance
• Have presence and gravitas
• Demonstrate innovative ideas in problem solving
