Job Description

The position as a Warehouse Officer has arisen at our stores department. The candidate will take ownership of the entire stores and make sure all products and materials are secure at all times whilst managing a team of Store Assistants to efficiently run other day-to-day activities of the department as specified below.

Essential Duties

  • Ensure all raw materials, semi-finished and finished products are under lock and secure at all time
  • Strictly supervise and supply products to customers and to Sales Representatives as per waybill signed ONLY by Managing Director or in his absence the assigned person.
  • Strictly supervise the supplies of materials for production as per requisition and update daily transactions according on ERP.
  • Work closely with the Production and Quality Control Department to ensure all materials and products to stores and at stored meet the company’s quality standards
  • Record accurately on daily basis the exact quantities of all goods and products received as per purchase order or returns invoice or any relevant documents
  • Keep a good record of all daily transactions
  • Ensure all shelves in store are clearly labeled
  • Ensure all products in store are well arranged and assigned specific shelf identities for easy identification and traceability
  • Ensure all products are kept at the right conditions to avoid damaged goods
  • Will be responsible to keep all store tidy and clean at all times
  • Will be responsible to lead a team of Store Assistants to efficiently run other day-to-day activities of the store department i.e. shelving or stocking, loading and off-loading of trucks etc.
  • Expected to lead by example and to respect company working time and make sure team subordinates tow the same line
  • Perform any other duties as will be assigned by management from time to time

Required Skills or Experience

  • HND or equivalent in relevant discipline with 2-5 years working experience in a similar position.
  • Must be firm and bold to query the authenticity of documents
  • Have good command of the English Language, good communication skills and depict a positive attitude to customers at all times
  • Team builder and player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Should be an excellent record keeper and demonstrate basic administrative skills
  • Should be a good time keeper and be prepared to work under pressure or stay in for extra hours
