Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of administrative duties to support day-to-day office operations. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a customer-service-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to senior management and other departments as required.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain and organize files, both physical and digital.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence.
- Process and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of events or company meetings.
- Maintain office cleanliness and ensure that office equipment is functional.
- Support with billing, invoicing, or other financial documentation when needed.
- Assist in managing calendars, booking appointments, and coordinating schedules.
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform other general administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- HND ,Diploma or Degree ; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in another relevant role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-service-oriented and friendly attitude.
