Job Description

A financial institution in LAPAZ is in search of Recovery Officer to recover outstanding debts and maintain good relationships with clients. 

Responsibilities

• Contact debtors: Call, email, or visit debtors to notify them of overdue payments 
• Negotiate payment plans: Work with debtors to create a repayment plan that works for both parties 
• Research information: Use available resources to find out more about the debtor and their situation 
• Plan courses of action: Decide on the best way to recover the debt, which may or may not involve court action 
• Enforce credit policy: Make sure the company's credit policy is followed, and communicate credit-related issues to management 
• Identify credit risks: Work with risk management to identify potential credit risks and develop strategies to prevent or mitigate them 
• Dispose of recovered assets: Sell or otherwise dispose of assets that have been recovered 

Required Skills or Experience

• HND in related fields
• At least two (2) years’ experience
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to different situations
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients
• Analytical skills 
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
