Key Responsibilities

1.⁠Teaching

• Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to undergraduate students in computer science and Law
• Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams.
• Use innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning.

2.⁠ ⁠Research

• Conduct research in specialized areas of computer science and Law
• Publish findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects.

3.⁠ ⁠Student Support

• Mentor and advise students on academic and career development.
• Supervise undergraduate research projects and internships.

4.⁠ ⁠Curriculum Development:

• Contribute to the design and improvement of computer science programs.
• Ensure course content aligns with current industry trends and technological advancements.

5.⁠ ⁠Administrative Duties

• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and program reviews.
• Assist in organizing events, such as workshops, seminars, and hackathons.

This role combines teaching, research, and mentorship to prepare students for careers in the ever-evolving field of computer science and Law

Required Skills or Experience

• A minimum of four (4) years post-qualification teaching experience at the tertiary level is required for Senior Lecturers and two (2) years for Lecturers.
• A Senior Lecturer must possess a minimum of an M.Phil./Ph.D. degree in the relevant field of specialization. He/she must additionally have a minimum of five (5) publications.
