Request of Expression of Interest

Financial and Procurement Policies for a Not-for-Profit Organization

A not-for-profit organization with focus on youth development across Africa and the Diaspora seeks the services of a consultant to prepare financial and procurement policy document to guide its operations.

Level of Effort, Timelines and Deliverables

The assignment will require 5 man-days, and will be spread between October 25 and October 31, 2024 is expected to produce the following deliverables:

  1. An Inception Report (October 25)
  2. A draft financial policy document and procurement policy document brief (October 29).
  3. A presentation of the policies drafted (October 30).
  4. A final policy that integrates all the inputs received (October 31).

Required Skills or Experience

The following are the minimum requirement for the consultancy position.

  • The consultant should hold an advanced degree in a relevant field and possess at least 10 years of expertise in financial management and procurement management.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in financial and procurement management.
  • Knowledge on and familiarity with the not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills (in English) are required.

  2. An Expression of Interest summarizing how the consultant intends to execute the work described in REOI including timeline, and professional fee.
