Summary
A management company with a strong presence across multiple industries, including agribusiness, aviation, financial services, IT, hospitality, construction, and media, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join its leadership team and oversee the entire financial operations of its diverse business units.

The role will provide financial leadership and support to the business units, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, tax management, and other financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive capital-raising strategy to secure funding from international and local sources to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure that all business units develop and implement SOPs, financial policies, procedures, and systems.
• Provide financial planning, analysis, and advice to support business decision-making.
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting of the business units.
• Oversee all foreign exchange transactions for all business units.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and financial performance across all business units.
• Supervise all tax management initiatives.
• Lead the finance team, providing guidance and support.

Required Skills or Experience

• Must be a qualified accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role.
• Proven experience in financial management, including financial reporting, tax management, financial planning, and treasury management.
• Excellent financial analysis, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
