Job Description

A progressive Ghanaian-owned animal feed company located in Kumasi seeks an experienced and energetic Factory Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and replacements of factory equipment/parts to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• He will ensure factory machines are in good condition, perform regular inspections, and address issues promptly
• He will develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize  production interruptions, reduce cost, and improve overall production effectiveness.
• Must collaborate with factory management to ensure a safe and clean working environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• He will train support personnel on appropriate safety protocols around operating  equipment, as well as promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.

Required Skills or Experience

• An HND/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Must have 3 to 5 years' experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance practices and safety protocols.
• Good problem-solving, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
