Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized individual to join our dynamic team as a Program Administrator. This role is open to Ghanaian nationals. The Program Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of our projects and programs, providing essential support for daily operations, and facilitating seamless communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders. The position will encompass a blend of administrative support, coordination, and project management responsibilities, with a focus on our core service areas, including institutional capacity strengthening, sustainable food systems, ESG support, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Coordination & Administration:
    1. Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
    2. Coordinate activities between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
    3. Maintain project documentation, track progress, and ensure compliance with project plans and timelines.

2.Support in Proposal Development & Resource Mobilization:

  1. Contribute to the development of project proposals, including research, data collection, and proposal writing.
  2. Support    resource    mobilization efforts, including    identifying    funding opportunities and preparing necessary documentation.

3.Policy & Data Support:

  1. Assist in the preparation of policy briefs, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  2. Support data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform evidence-based policy and decision-making.

4.Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL):

  1. Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of project activities, ensuring accurate tracking of outcomes and impact.
  2. Contribute to the development of MEL frameworks and tools, and support learning initiatives within projects.

5.Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  1. Maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  2. Ensure effective communication and coordination among all parties involved in projects.

6.Inclusion & Capacity Building:

  1. Promote inclusive participation, particularly women and youth, in agricultural value chains and other related projects.
  2. Support the design and delivery of capacity-building initiatives for clients and stakeholders.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Must be below 35 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in program administration, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable food systems, climate-smart agriculture, and institutional capacity strengthening.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) processes is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
