Introduction
Incoterms are the world’s most important international trade rules, according to the International Chamber of Commerce (2020). Anyone involved in international trade, whether imports, exports, transport operators, lawyers, accountants, or bankers need to have a good understanding of the new Incoterms® 2020 rules.

GTI seeks a consultant to train twenty-five members of Techiman Cashew Exporters and Traders Association on the updated Incoterms® 2020 rules. This training will strengthen the exporters' capacity to improve their international business activities. The training will consider areas including an introduction to Incoterms 2020 rules, modes of transport, sea or land waterway rules, considerations for choosing the right Incoterms 2020 rules, payment techniques, Incoterms 2020 risk, revenue recognitions and insurable interest, contract of carriage, customs, VAT, and chain transactions.

This training will illustrate the impact of the chosen Incoterms® 2020 rules on the different aspects of the contract of sale through a learning-by-doing workshop. In this workshop, participants will be given real-life scenarios to practice choosing the most efficient Incoterms rule to include in the contract of sale and applying it correctly.

The official Incoterms® 2020 Training is offered by International Trade and Commerce globally to ensure that trade terms are appropriately applied by businesses. The curriculum includes interactive case studies that allow trainees to apply their understanding of the Incoterms® rules by simulating real-life work scenarios.
