The Shop Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. The role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and performing basic cashier duties.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:

• Welcome customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure customers leave the store satisfied with their shopping experience.

Sales Support:

• Assist in promoting and upselling products to meet sales targets.
• Provide detailed information on product features and benefits.
• Suggest complementary products or alternatives based on customer needs.

Inventory Management:

• Restock shelves and ensure all products are displayed attractively.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Store Manager.
• Assist in stock-taking and inventory audits when required.

Cashier Duties:

• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Process payments via cash, credit cards, or mobile payment systems.
• Issue receipts and ensure proper cash handling at the till.

Store Maintenance:

• Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of clutter.
• Ensure displays are updated and comply with promotional standards.
• Regularly check for damaged or expired products and report to the supervisor.

Compliance and Safety:

• Follow store policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and regulations.
