Job Description Background At Oxfam in Ghana, we will tackle the root causes of social and economic inequalities and unaccountable power that violate human rights and drive poverty, injustice, and environmental destruction. We will achieve this by working together with people and partners to address the systemic barriers fuelling inequality and poverty. We will work in contexts where we can have the greatest impact, channelling our resources to work in solidarity with allies and partners, to shape transformational programming and influencing at scale. The Role To be responsible and accountable for the day to day activities related to the core finance function which includes but not limited to, reporting financial transactions to support in managing / controlling financial risks and in making decisions, ensuring full compliance with Oxfam procedures and providing complete, timely and accurate financial report for donors in respect of Oxfam in Ghana programmes. Reporting to the Finance and Operations Lead and working closely and collaboratively as a member of the Finance Team, within the wider business systems and operations team, with overall responsibility to provide professional finance, administrative, logistics and IT management service delivering proactive and people-centred solutions for resolving issues. This includes ensuring that the business services operational requirements are effectively managed to deliver organisational results, which are focused on developing capacity and expertise of partner organisations to enable Oxfam in Ghana deliver on the Country Strategy.
