A multi-product Marketing company with head office in Accra and a number of branches in some of the regions in Ghana, and a member of a West African conglomerate is looking to engage resourceful persons for different units of its operation.

ASSISTANT PRODUCT MANAGER (CAR PAINT UNIT)
The Assistant Product manager will aid in conducting market and competitor review and research, completing client research, forecasting trends, and determining customer problems and potential ways to solve them to meet or exceed company’s sales budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

•  Provide support to the product manager and management team, help identify new market opportunities, define a roadmap to obtaining new customers, help with strategy development for these new markets, and help plan the budget.
•  Write up documents for market and product requirements (reporting on marketing promotions and performance indicators to help track goals and increase sales revenue).
•  Responsible for monitoring inventory, assisting the sales team with product questions, and working with vendors to find out product lead time and availability.

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have an HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or the Social Sciences. With a minimum of 4years experience and at least one year of purchasing or buying experience, especially in distribution.
•  Must have good computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
•  It is vital that you are able to work well independently and as a team. Familiarity with e-commerce and social media marketing will be beneficial for this position
