Job Description

Our client is a Dutch-Ghana motorcycle company. Its mission is to provide safe and reliable mobility to all people; with a vision to be a Pan-African industry leader in high quality motorcycles, engineered specifically for Africa.
 
Purpose
Our client is seeking a Sales Executive; to join its Sales and Marketing team, whose task is to drive sales revenue and growth across the 16 regions of Ghana. The role is pivotal and revolves round strategic planning, achieving sales target, market expansion, customer acquisition and retention.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Researching and developing new business opportunities, identifying, and qualifying leads in different market segments. 
  • Planning, scheduling, and carrying out visits to key individuals, institutions, and organizations to close on sales opportunities using robust consultative selling techniques.
  • Developing alternative routes to reach the market, ensuring all commercial deals are consistent with the overall sales strategy.
  • Cultivating strong, holistic relationships with the customer base, building a deep understanding of the customer’s market and specific needs to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform regular account reviews to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Updating the manager by the provision of reports on sales activities and bringing to their attention any problems/challenges with recommendations for resolution.
  • Preparing for, attending, and contributing to sales meetings and events to build strategic awareness of our brand, and to gather market-relevant intelligence and build networking relationships.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments to effectively position our solutions.
  • Actively seek new customers, through networking, cold-calling and social media.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or other relevant disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in sales and in the selling of complex equipment and challenger brands. 
  • Strong understanding of sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and CRM software.
