Participatory Action for Rural Development Alternatives (PARDA) is a local development organization that facilitates local resource mobilization, management, and self-help development drives through active participation of beneficiary partners in socio-economic ventures. 

Job Description

PARDA is working in the Northern part of Ghana to promote maternal and child health among other thematic programmes using community-based strategies. As part of its staff strengthening, PARDA seeks to engage the services of a qualified person for the following position:

Responsibilities
  • Produce reports on M&E findings and prepare presentations based on M&E data as required.
  • Provide the Director through the Programs Manager with management information that may be required from time to time.
  • Tracking performance of all projects
  • Project proposal writing 
  • Regular monitoring of projects activities implementation 
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Director of PARDA.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification
  • Education: First degree in statistics, demographics, public policy, economics, Development Studies, Accounting Economics, or related field. A master’s degree in any relevant area is an added advantage. 
  • Excellent written and spoken command of English language. 
Experience
  • Minimum of Two (2) years of professional experience in an M&E position and activities of development projects.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems.
  • Experience in designing and managing beneficiary monitoring and database systems.
  • Experience in strategic planning and performance measurement, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans and tools.
  • Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.
  • Experience in managing and providing training to target beneficiaries.
  • Ability to facilitate and serve as project liaison for externally managed evaluations.
  • Ability to ride Motorbike to project communities.
