Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and running of all warehouse activities. He/she will report to the Inventory Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick and pack Transfer and Sales Orders request
Pack items for retail customers at the headquarters
Housekeeping in warehouses – clearing and packaging
Undertake transfers from a warehouse to another warehouse
Receive goods at the warehouse
Undertake transfers from warehouse to the retail outlets
Perform other warehouse assignments as and when needed

OHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures
Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions relating to work
Hazard identification and reporting
Wear appropriate PPE’s for work at all time
Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable

Required Skills or Experience

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

A Senior High School Certificate (SSSCE/WASSCE)
Minimum of two (2) years’ Experience in a similar role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Attention to detail
Able to follow processes and procedure accurately
Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects
Excellent customer service skills
Willing to work overtime at short notice
Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic
A good team player
