This means no outsourcing, no friction, and a hard-to-replicate ability to build and deploy bespoke AI solutions more profitably, flexibly, and ethically than non-vertically integrated competitors.

We have recently developed our first product suite in Geospatial AI – using remote sensing data (drone + satellite) + AI to create transformational efficiencies in farms, forestry, and climate projects. We can already count major enterprises like Unilever amongst our clients and are engaging with many of the largest companies in agriculture and forestry.

Critically, our mission is not only to build and scale AI products but to create high-level capability locally in Africa, this is essential to our impact and to ensure we can Scale as effectively as possible

Job Description

We are seeking potential Data Annotators to join our talent pool for upcoming projects. As a Data Annotator, you will play a crucial role in labeling and categorizing data to support our data-driven initiatives. Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow guidelines accurately, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extracting, collecting, and analyzing data in multiple formats (Video/Text/Numeric/Audio)
• Accurately labelling data on software
• Managing time effectively in order to hit targets
• Web-based research in order to build out data sets
• Cleansing data (deduplication, error flagging ad correction, formatting, arranging)
• Managing data security and confidentiality 

Required Skills or Experience

• Be highly experienced on computers and the internet
• Be proficient on basic software (MS Excel and Word)
• Have knowledge of computer hardware systems and peripherals.(Bonus)
• Have in-depth knowledge of data retrieval and storage systems. (Bonus)
• Be diligent with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and give their best
• Be able to manage their own time to meet project output requirements with regards to speed and accuracy
• Be able to work independently on projects.
• Have excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Have excellent written and spoken English skills (other international languages a bonus)
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in information management, data analytics, computer science, or a similar field. (Preferred not essential)
