Aim of the Request for Information (RFI)

Project HOPE is the prime partner of the USAID-funded Integrated Health Partnership (IHP) Activity in Ghana; a 5-year, $45million project with the goal of substantially reducing preventable maternal, neonatal, child deaths and improving health and wellbeing by 2030. The project will contribute to Ghana’s Universal Health Care Roadmap, RMNCAH&N targets, Malaria Elimination strategy, and FP2030 commitments. Project HOPE is working in close partnership with the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), Sanford Health Ghana, several teaching hospitals, and multiple technical resource partners. 

USAID and the Integrated Health Partnership Activity Team are interested in cocreating with Fulani and Fulbe-led organizations community mobilization and service delivery strategies which meet the unique needs of vulnerable and underserved communities. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to 1) identify Fulani and Fulbe-led health and community development organizations operating in Ghana, and 2) to assess the organizational capacities of these organizations, no matter how formal or informal, and 3) to understand how the community development organization is Fulbe- or Fulani-led.  This process will inform future planning, engagement, cocreation and resource allocation strategies, and potential opportunities for future community mobilization, outreach and service delivery approaches.  This RFI does not constitute a commitment for future funding which is always contingent upon funder approval.
