Job Description

A reputable school located at Adenta, Ghana needs a facility manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of the school’s physical assets to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the custodial and maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and environmental sustainability.
• Coordinate routine inspections and preventive maintenance for systems, plumbing, electrical, and other critical systems.
• Plan and coordinate all installations.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and suppliers to meet health and safety standards.

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Facility Management, Building Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in facility management, maintenance, or a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Well-versed in technical/ engineering operations and facility management best practices.
