Join us! Eduwatch is a sub awardee of the Strengthening Accountability in Ghana's Education System (SAGES) Systems Strengthening Activity being implemented by CARE with support from USAID. The Activity is a five-year program that aims to improve the accountability of the education system in Ghana, with focus on improving the performance of education system actors, improving education management, and increasing citizen engagement. The purpose of the Strengthening Accountability in Ghana's Education System (SAGES) Systems Strengthening Activity is to improve primary education service delivery through institutionalizing accountability in the Ghanaian primary education system. Africa Education Watch is therefore looking for Project Accountant to be based in Accra to support the implementation of The Strengthening Accountability in Ghana's Education System (SAGES). The Project Accountant will support processing of payments for the implementation of project activities. The position requires a candidate with strong finance and accounting background. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to accurately capture, review and process payments, and ensure all transactions are adequately documented and reported. Responsibilities
