Job Description As the leading global partner for the Momentum Country and Global Leadership program, MCGL is a five-year USAID funded global award that works with country governments and local non-governmental organizations to provide targeted technical and capacity development assistance. MCGL builds upon existing evidence and best practices and catalyzes innovations that enable government-led partnerships to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that accelerate reductions in maternal, newborn, and child mortality and morbidity at scale. The project also contributes to global technical leadership, learning, and USAID’s policy dialogue to achieve global maternal, newborn, and child health, voluntary family planning, and reproductive health (MNCH/FP/RH) goals by supporting globally endorsed initiatives, strategies, frameworks, guidelines, and action plans. Project Overview We are currently seeking to fill the following position to support the project’s technical program in Ghana: I. MCGL Family Planning
Job Summary
The FP Technical Officer will assist the project team in working with Ghana Health Service and other relevant stakeholders to implement key activities at the national and site level. This will include assisting with the development of work plans, liaising with staff, other partners and rolling out activities, reporting, leading capacity strengthening activities and mentorship.
