Job Description
- Location –Kumasi and Tamale
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Prepare regular reports for upper management
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business
- Use of various sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)
- Develop new sales strategies and models.
- Build long lasting client relationships.
- Meet Branch sales targets.
- Attend meetings, sales events, and training.
- Manage your client database within your assigned territory.
- Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door to-
- Door, cold calling, and presentations
- Researching and forecasting sales and developing sales strategies and methods and evaluating
- Their effectiveness
- Visiting customers on a regular basis and evaluating customer needs and desires
- Creating sales targets and working to meet them individually and as a team.
- Monitoring the organization’s competitors, their products and marketing strategies
- Acting as a representative for the organization during customer meetings and presentations
- Reporting and providing feedback to management using financial data collected
- All other duties and responsibilities that will be given to you in your line of duty
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
Educational Background
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Security Studies, or a related field.
- A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, PMP) is an added advantage.
Experience
- At least 5 years of progressive management experience, preferably in the private security industry or a related sector.
- Proven track record of managing teams, operations, and client relationships.
Leadership Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to inspire and guide branch staff effectively.
- Decision-making skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with security operations, protocols, and technology, including CCTV systems and access control mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software for client management.
Sales and Business Development
- Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external correspondence.
- Ability to conduct presentations and lead training sessions for staff.
Operational Competence
- Expertise in budget management, resource allocation, and operational planning.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
Customer Focus
- Commitment to delivering excellent client service and addressing customer concerns proactively.
Compliance and Ethics
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
Flexibility and Adaptability
- Willingness to travel as needed and flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
