A dynamic private university, is looking for highly motivated individual for full - time position: IT Specialist - Systems Development And Support

• A successful applicants will be part of a hard- working team in charge of the development and support of software systems for managing academic, learning, teaching and administrative activities and functions of the university.
• The team is also in charge of the development and support of our learning management system (LMS) 

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification Required & Experience

• Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3-5 years post qualification work experience in a dynamic organization.  

• Having a strong knowledge of learning management system (lms) core features installation and configurations.
• Troubleshooting php codes and applications issues and resolving any system performance problems.
• Experience in wordpress systems development and coding
• Managing site user authentication and course enrollment processes
• Maintaining the learning management system (lms) upgrade cycle, including acting on security notifications.

Qualified candidates must also have the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years developing web applications in php
• 3+ years developing web applications in wordpress
• 3+ years customizing and developing modules with a major cms 
• Writing quality html with css and javascript.
• Developing quality wordpress websites along with generating wordpress themes and plugins
• Requirements analysis and gathering experience
• Web host control panels administration and troubleshooting
