Job Purpose
The Learning Management Systems Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the company’s learning management system. This role involves managing course content, user administration, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the system is effectively supporting training and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong technical skills, and be passionate about improving the learning experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the Learning Management System platforms
  • Ensure the LMS is running efficiently and meets the needs of the organization’s training programs.
  • Create and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions within the system.
  • Provide training to end-users on how to navigate and use the LMS effectively.
  • upload and organize course content, assessments, and learning materials.
  • Troubleshoot LMS-related technical issues and provide support to users as needed.
  • Monitor system performance and collaborate with IT team to ensure uptime and resolve any technical problems.
  • Generate and analyze reports on course completion, user engagement, and other key metrics.
  • Provide insights based on data analysis to improve learning outcomes.
  • Offer ongoing support resolving any issues related to course access, enrolment, or content.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to upload and update training materials as needed.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Education.
  • 5 proven years of experience in administering LMS Platforms.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the LMS.
  • Familiarity with standards for eLearning content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles.
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
