Job Description

A reputable company is looking for an experienced person to occupy the position of a Research and Development Officer in their Poultry Feed Production Plant.  Responsibilities include:

• Manage feed formulas
• Handle production challenges, such as developing substitute ingredient options
• Record all formula information
• Provide recommendations for product improvements
• Follow feed regulations for the area of relevance
• Assist in the registration of feed products
• Uphold accurate feed labels that follow proper protocol
• Research and develop new feed formulations for specific poultry needs (e.g., growth, health, or egg production).
• Experiment with alternative ingredients and additives to improve the nutritional profile or cost-efficiency of the feed.
• Work with the quality control team to test new formulations for consistency and safety.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advances in feed technology.
• Assist the marketing and sales teams in developing new products that meet customer demands.

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor degree in Animal Science, Nutrition, Agricultural Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in poultry feed production or related industry.
