Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our team. This role combines strategic business development, marketing, and communications to drive growth and enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in these areas and a passion for the biotechnology industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market reach.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Plan, develop and execute yearly strategic sales plan.
- Manage the business development team to achieve and exceed targets, ensuring continuous training of staff and monitoring sales quality through joint visits and regular meetings.
- Cultivate a business development pipeline of key stakeholder relationships.
- Analyze business performance metrics, including profitability, revenue, pricing, and cost of goods sold.
- Manage budgets, expenses, pricing, and commercial arrangements in line with the company’s financial model and projections.
- Identify and follow up on leads of potential new customers with long-term prospects.
- Gather and synthesize data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing
Marketing
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s products and services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Manage and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events, etc.).
- Participate in marketing program planning, development, execution, and measurement to ensure the success of corporate sales programs.
Marketing Communications
- Coordinate public relations efforts to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Develop and distribute newsletters and official communication materials.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Enhance brand identity and awareness through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Master's degree / professional certification in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Candidates with bachelor’s degree and appropriate experience will be considered)
- Minimum 8 – 10 years’ experience
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, and communications, preferably in the biotechnology or related industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
