Job Description
- Reports to: Restaurant Manager
The Restaurant Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing marketing strategies to drive traffic, build brand awareness, and increase revenue for the restaurant. This role involves working closely with management to create and execute both digital and traditional marketing campaigns, manage social media channels, analyze customer insights, and optimize marketing efforts to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies to attract customers: Design and execute comprehensive marketing plans, including digital marketing, email campaigns, social media strategies, local advertising, and event promotions.
- Brand Development: Maintain and promote the restaurant's brand identity through consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content (photos, videos, blogs, etc.) for the restaurant’s website, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Social Media Management: Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), create posts, engage with customers, and track social media performance to increase followers and engagement.
- Campaign Management: Plan and coordinate seasonal promotions, limited-time offers, and special events to boost customer visits and sales.
- Customer Analytics: Use data to measure the success of marketing campaigns, analyze customer behavior, and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize results.
- Collaboration with Local Partners: Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, and food bloggers to increase visibility in the community.
- SEO & Online Presence: Optimize the restaurant’s online presence (Google My Business, Yelp, TripAdvisor) to ensure positive reviews and improve search engine rankings.
- Event Coordination: Organize and promote special events such as new menu launches, themed nights, and live entertainment to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Budget Management: Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources across different marketing channels.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the foodservice or restaurant industry.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and analytics tools.
- Strong creative skills with experience in content creation (photography, graphic design, copywriting).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and optimize marketing campaigns based on insights.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, Google Ads, and SEO best practices.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and local marketing trends.
- Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Suite, Canva) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with influencer marketing or brand partnerships.
- Event planning experience.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
