Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms daily, including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as reception, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas through regular sweeping, mopping, and sanitation.
• Wash, dry, iron, and neatly fold all guest house linens, towels, and all other clothing while ensuring proper handling and stain removal.
• Keep an accurate count of clean and used linens, report damaged items, and ensure timely restocking of laundry supplies.
• Empty trash bins, sort waste properly, and dispose of garbage in designated areas while maintaining hygiene and odor control.
• Promptly report any damages, broken equipment, or needed repairs in rooms or common areas to the supervisor for immediate action.
• Follow health, hygiene, and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and protective gear, to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Required Skills or Experience

• SSSCE/SHS graduate.
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience in hotel or guest house operations would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Attention to detail, time management and knowledge of hygiene standards and safety procedures.
