Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic instruction across Cambridge IGCSE and A-level Biology with biochemistry specialisation.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to a diverse range of students' needs and learning styles.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas.
• Design STEM integration projects bridging all three disciplines
• Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams.
• Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners.
• Integrate current biotech advancements and research-based assessments into lessons.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biomedical Sciences or related field.
• A postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of qualitative research methods.
• Expertise in risk assessment and lab management.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment procedures is a significant advantage.
• Laboratory research experience.
• Ability to teach Chemistry to IGCSE level.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools.
• Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching is desirable.
