INVITATION TO TENDER

CARD Ghana as part of the implementation of the EU funded “Resilience Against Climate Change” Project, is implementing the “Strengthening Community Resilience Through Community Action Plans (CAPs)” in the Wa West of the Upper West region of Ghana and intends to apply part of its funds for the Construction of Solar Powered Mechanised Boreholes and Construction of Small-Scale Solar- Powered Drip Irrigation Farms across 12 communities of the upper west region with specifications as detailed in the table below:

CARD Ghana now invites sealed Tenders from eligible and qualified contractors registered with the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing for the procurement of the above works. Tendering will be conducted in line with provisions of National Competitive Tender (NCT) and CARD Ghana’s Finance Policy and Procedure Manual.

How To Apply

  • Interested and eligible tenderers may obtain further information from CARD Ghana, Wa office.
  • In addition to the general requirements stated in the tender documents, all tenderers shall also be required to provide the following: 
  1. VAT Registration Certificate 
  2. Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate 
  3. Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate 
  4. Valid Labour Certificate (Job Specific)
  5. Tender Security
  6. Valid Power of Attorney for bid signatory 
  7. Valid Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate (Min Class D2K2 or above) 
  8. Valid Drilling License from the Water Resources and Minerals Commission
  9. Valid Ghana Water Ltd Plumbers Certificate 
  10. Three (3) Works of Similar Nature with evidence
  11. Proposed Key Personnel and Team Composition with CVs
  12. Proposed Key Equipment for the Project with Evidence of Ownership/Lease 
  13. Environmental, Social, Health and Safety Plan
  14. A brief Method Statement and Implementation Plan
  15. 3 Years Audited Accounts 
  • Failure to submit any of the above listed documents would render the bid ‘non-responsive’ and the tender would consequently not be evaluated.
  • Interested firms are requested to apply for the complete set of bidding documents by expressing interest in the provision of the services above through the email card.wa@gmail.com . Firms are required to be specific on the lot(s) in their request.  A complete set of tender documents with drawings, bills of quantities and technical specifications shall be issued to the firm upon a formal request.
  • Completed Tender documents for the different Lots should be submitted to card.wa@gmail.com  on or before 30th April 2025 at 12:00 GMT
  • Tenders would be valid for 90 days after the deadline for tender submission. Late tenders will be rejected.
